Digital Link (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides the NextQ Display application. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information we collect
NextQ Display does not require an account and does not send personal information to Digital Link. The app may store settings, screen layouts, queue-display content, and selected media locally on your device so its features can work.
Device permissions and local files
If you choose a background image, video, font, or other media, the app may ask you to select or access that file. The selected content is used to configure the display and remains on the device unless you choose to export or share it.
Local network communication
NextQ Display can communicate with NextQ Call over a local network to receive queue commands and display information. This communication is used to provide the app’s core functionality. Digital Link does not receive the content of these local communications.
Third-party services
NextQ Display does not currently use advertising or analytics services. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the new data practice is introduced.
Data retention and deletion
App data is stored locally and remains until you delete it in the app, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Files you exported may remain in the location you selected and must be deleted there separately.
Children’s privacy
NextQ Display is a business utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
We use reasonable measures in the app’s design to protect locally stored information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
